Methods Used to Destroy Chemical Warfare Agents
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention provides independent oversight to the U.S. chemical weapons elimination program. The two methods used to destroy chemical warfare agents are incineration technology and neutralization followed by chemical hydrolysis.
